She is a dedicated physician with clinical experience in fast-paced outpatient settings and a strong passion for patient-centered care. With a background in clinical medicine, research, and quality improvement, Dr. Qureshi is known for her compassionate approach and commitment to delivering excellent patient outcomes.
Dr. Shiv Kumar Patil was one of the key forces behind this practice. His dedication, compassion and competence in the field of medicine were unmatched, a fact easily attested to by any of the numerous patients who came to him for their every medical need. He would spend endless hours striving for his patients, often going the extra mile to ensure that they got the best possible care. It is our great misfortune that we lost him to a plane-crash in August 2013, a tragedy that claimed the life of his young daughter Sonia as well.
He was the eternal optimist. No task was too small for him, no challenge too big. He was selfless in friendship, and gave openly. Always an athlete, he loved adventure sports and had done a fair share of skydiving, but he lived for flying. He was a trained pilot, forever looking for an excuse to get airborne.
His interests spanned the breadth of life itself. He had a child-like curiosity about everything, and the world was still full of wonder at every step. Whether it was the latest gizmos that helped him plan his flights, or the fish-eye lens that he carried everywhere, or building slides and swings for his daughters, learning to ski, or just watching movies in his basement theater, his involvement was always total. He was a devoted dad, a beloved husband, an adored son, and a cherished brother.
He will always live in our hearts. It is with his vision and persevering spirit that we continue to endeavor to provide the very best in patient care.
